Why have you left my windows wet?

Accepted Answer

We use purified water when using water fed pole for cleaning windows. This water has nothing left to dry onto the windows so when it dries, evaporates or runs off the window, the pane will be left completely clean. If we tried to dry it by any method, we could be adding dirt and other particulates back onto the window.

Do you use a chemical in the water?

Accepted Answer

For water fed pole window cleaning we use pure water. This has nothing else other than water for use on windows. This has to be filtered so we bring our own with us. For traditional cleaning we use a safe and gentle cleaning solution that is pet and plant safe but provides the needed glide to squeegee the dirty water off windows.

How often should I have my windows cleaned?

Accepted Answer

In most cases we recommend 8 weekly unless you are by a lot of trees and foliage or by a busy road. Many prefer to have a 4 week regularity but we offer both for the same price. We only need to know the regularity you need so our scheduling system can keep your clean on track and remind us when you are due.

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We regularly work around south Derby in places such as Sinfin, Littleover, Chellaston, Alvaston. We also cover out toward Long Eaton and villages toward Loughborough and Coalville. Generally if its within 30 Minutes of Melbourne we can accommodate a regular window cleaning schedule.

Can you clean windows in the rain?

Accepted Answer

Yes we can in light rain since rain water is close enough to purified water that it won't affect the finish on the windows. Heavy rain risks brick dust and other materials washing onto the window. Generally speaking we don't clean windows in the rain anyway as we will use rainy days for pressure washing, gutter cleaning and other services.

Won't there be water marks dry on the window?

Accepted Answer

We use pure water which means there's nothing in the water to dry onto the windows. You may be familiar with water drying on chrome taps and leaving water marks. This is salts, chemicals and other solids that leave marks behind. Pure water doesn't contain these materials so there's nothing to leave marks on the window once it's dry.

Accepted Answer

Water fed pole window cleaning is quicker than traditional but there's more work behind the scenes. Filtering water to make it pure is time consuming and comes at a cost. Half the work is done before we get to your house but its necessary to give the best result. In the same way cars, phones and cooking appliances are quicker or more efficient,  window cleaning is faster and more efficient. This also means there's more to fix, replace and do in the background. With advances in techniques and technology also comes better results.
